- Cameras, microphones, and speakers are located at checkout lanes, cashier offices, manager offices, merchandise aisles, pharmacies, and other high value areas, including outdoor parking.
- Regional and corporate managers routinely do remote video tours of stores, including merchandise aisles and checkout lanes.
- Remote operators can pay special attention to store openings and closing
- Security personnel can use panic buttons to request assistance from the monitoring center in case of suspicious or dangerous behavior.
- Cameras can be armed for motion detection when the store is closed in order to detect intruders.
