Comtrak offers network-friendly
bandwidth throttling. Extensive built-in IT tools protect the SCU from
virus/worm attacks and allow corporate IT groups to manage DVRs.
Comtrak uses a Microsoft XP-embedded platform and provides regular OS
patch releases to ensure timely remedies for future
vulnerabilities. In addition, all DVRs have a built-in firewall with
programmable port rules and support the use of Symantec and McAfee
anti-virus tools. A unique “Maintenance Mode” feature gives IT groups
priority access to the platform to perform network-critical operations.
